3- Stay out of the middle of the supermarket; shop on the perimeter of the store.
4- Don’t eat anything that won’t eventually rot.
5- Always leave the table a little hungry.
6- Eat meals together, at regular meal times.
7-Don’t buy food where you buy your gasoline.
Check out this interview with Michael Pollan and an excerpt of the Oscar-nominated documentary Food, Inc. … Michael Pollan on Food Rules: An Eaters Manual on Democracy Now! 1 of 5 . Pollan says: ” The markets are full of what I call edible food-like substances that you have to avoid… so a lot of the rules are to help you, you know, navigate that now very treacherous landscape of the American supermarket”.
What do you think about the clip? What do you really eat on a daily basis? Adopting any (or all) of these healthy habits can help you reach many of your health goals!
